Sberbank sells entire 10 bln rbl limit of OFZ for people bonds
ST. PETERSBURG, Jun 1 (PRIME) -- Russian national top lender Sberbank has sold 10 billion rubles of OFZ government bond issue for households, which is the entire amount it was commissioned to sell, Senior Vice President Igor Bulantsev told reporters on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on Thursday.
“We have completed the placement of the bank’s OFZ-n quota. We saw a big interest of investors in the new product,” he said.
The majority of bonds, 59%, were purchased by men, he added. The average age of an investor in OFZ-n bonds is 57 years. The average check stood at 1 million rubles.
